The Nisbet & Monteviot Beats

The beats are on the River Teviot, seven miles upstream of the famous junction pool at Kelso, where the Teviot and Tweed meet. 

 

 

We have double bank fishing, the top and bottom beat boundaries are clearly marked with notices.   It is easy fishing with grass fields behind on both banks, so easy casting is possible. 

Fly fishing only after September 14th. 

The Nisbet beat fishes four rods; the Monteviot 6 rods.

Corporate days and weeks

We can arrange corporate fishing trips for one to six days. Fishing on the rivers and lochs, salmon, sea trout, brown trout, rainbow trout and grayling. Clay pigeon shooting, BBQ’s and many other activities can be arranged to complete your bespoke corporate package.
